The Simpson Strong-Tie UK Van

Over the 2020 Christmas holiday, sales merchandiser Karl Warnett kept himself busy by fitting out his van with shelving and drawers for all his marketing needs.

Last Christmas I decided to kit out and build drawers and shelves in the back of my Volkswagen Caddy van as I was fed up with the untidy way my van was looking. I didn’t want my mobile “office” to appear unprofessional to customers and end users when I was visiting their premises.

Over the Christmas period, I decided to make things in my van more organized. I sourced all the materials out of my own pocket (not from Simpsons) and went about making drawers and side shelves on my van, which took me most of the vacation to complete.

Now know I have an organized van, which means I can put my hand to anything I carry back there, saving me the time I used to spend looking for things and making further messes in the process.

Customers like the way it is presented. And from my perspective, the van now looks a proper and professional way to go to market. I wanted to ensure that all my Simpson merchandising and marketing products are always kept orderly. It’s great to be able to show our dealers that I am organized and working for a great company.
