We want to help you make the deck of your dreams a reality. This week we’re launching the Deck Planner Software™ Design Your Dream Deck contest. 

Open to everyone, from homeowners to pros, the Simpson Strong-Tie® Deck Planner Software Design Your Dream Deck contest is easy to enter. Entrants just need to design a deck using our free, web-based Deck Planner Software. The winner will receive up to $500 of Simpson Strong-Tie products, as specified in the winning design, to build their dream deck during the 2020 deck season.  

 The latest version of Deck Planner Software launched in June 2019 and is powered by an in-app tutorial that guides users step by step through the custom deck design process. The software allows users to select shapes, modify dimensions, choose from various deck board and railing options, and toggle between 2D and 3D design modes. Users can also type in deck dimensions and have the software design a foundation model for customization. 

We’ve made the software easy to use and intuitive. Here’s a tutorial to help you get started:

 

 Anyone who chooses to participate in the Deck Planner Software™ Design Your Dream Deck contest will have until February 28, 2020, to submit their deck plan on the official Deck Planner Software Design Your Dream Deck contest website.
