Speed Up Home Improvement with Project Pro™ by Simpson Strong-Tie

Building or repairing a deck, fence or subfloor can be a great way to enhance and maintain your living space for safety and enjoyment while potentially adding value to the property. And if you’re like a lot of us, you’d prefer to tackle some of the more straightforward jobs yourself.

For advanced DIYers and busy individuals, finding free time can be a real challenge. But what if you could tackle and finish your home improvement projects faster? That’s the idea behind the Project Pro fastening tool, the latest addition to the Quik Drive® line of auto-feed screw driving systems from Simpson Strong-Tie.

Drive screws up to four times faster

The Project Pro system is a lightweight, auto-feed attachment that works with most cordless drill or driver motors. Designed to speed up repetitive fastening jobs, it installs Quik Drive–compatible collated fasteners from 1 5/8″ to 2 1/2″ long. Using the Project Pro with collated screws, it’s possible to finish fastening up to four times faster than using traditional hand-driving alone.

Indoor and outdoor jobs are both friendly territory for Project Pro. For decks, porches and fences, use it with collated Deck-Drive DSV Wood screws. For interior work like subfloors, use collated Strong-Drive® WSV Subfloor screws. These premium, low-torque fasteners are designed for strength, speed and easy installation.

“Project Pro is ideal for building or repairing decks, fences, subfloors and other DIY projects around the house. It works with most cordless drills or driver motors that people already own. Plus, at a very economical price point, it delivers a lot of bang for the buck.”

— Brandon Ward, Product Manager

Easy to set up and use

The Project Pro attaches quickly and easily to a cordless drill or impact driver without requiring any special tools or adapters, so you can get started right out of the box. After feeding a collated strip of fasteners into the tool, you position the nosepiece and drive each screw until fully seated. If you need to make a depth adjustment, simply rotate the countersink dial to ensure a proper finish, every time.

Whatever the task at hand, Project Pro is a smart way to save time and effort on decks, porches, fences, subfloors and similar jobs that require repetitive fastening. It’s available at home centers and hardware dealers around the country, and backed by expert service and support from Simpson Strong-Tie.
